He is great on the ball (better than Allison imo) but needs to do better on his shotstopping his tekkers was woeful yesterday. Mignoletesque, shots just went through him.

Shipping multiple goals every few games is not ideal - he was bailed out by the rest of the team yesterday.

He is exceptional in his distribution with his feet. Statistically he is a freak on that front. He has a 100% completion rate for short and medium range passes for the 6 PL games (tiny sample I know but that's every PL game he has to his name) and for his long passes he has a 56% completion rate overall but for the last two seasons it jumped to 80%.

Where he has declined statisically the past two seasons compared to the seasons prior is in his shot stopping. He has gone from exceeding his expected saves vs shots numbers to getting minus figures on that front. Basically the bread and butter stuff for a keeper has declined.

Again a tiny sample of games but one can only look at what is there.

That's it! Ali is one of the very best keepers in the world. Few are near him.

Kelleher is a good keeper but a tad overrated given he has never had a run of games to show how good or not he actually is.

Always catches my eye though that he is very much the number two keeper for Ireland though and that when he does play a game he looks less assured than the four years younger Bazunu.

Kelleher has kind of fallen into the same hole as Nat Phillips for me. 25 years of age and horribly inexperienced in terms of the amount of games he has played.

For another bit of comparison with Alisson. He is now the exact same age as Alisson was when he joined Liverpool. Alisson had 165 senior club games to his name by then along with over 30 caps for Brazil.

Even the afore mentioned Bazanu, who turned 21 this year, has 140 senior games at club level (32 in the PL league) along with 21 caps for Ireland.

Kelleher has 28 senior games at club level (6 in the PL including the game at the weekend) to his name along with 11 caps for Ireland.

I've seen Donnarumma get some flak on here at times whilst Kelleher gets the "young keeper still developing" stuff. Donnarumma is actually younger than Kelleher and has over 340 senior club games to his name and 60 caps for Italy so if the young and still developing tag applies to Kelleher it applies to Donnarumma as well.

Think there is a good keeper in Kelleher but also think he is very very green and even moreso when his age is taken into account. And as such not sure if he will ever reach the potential he was showing a few years back.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp started off with team news, confirming that both Alisson and Diogo Jota will not be available after picking up injuries in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Manchester City: "Both are out. With Alisson it is a bit lesser so we will have to see. He's not going to play tomorrow or on Sunday, probably not the week after, then he could be kind of OK, but Diogo will take a little bit longer. We don't know exactly how long but it is a bit more serious."
