Actually **** it I'm having Coutinho in there instead of Alonso. Controversial I know, but Xabi scored less and had a few dodgy spells for us. Coutinho scored some incredible goals. Alonso realistically played his best football after he left us.

    Reina
    Babbel Hyypia VVD Robbo
    Mascherano Gerrard
    Salah Coutinho
    Suarez Torres

It also highlights how poor our fullbacks have been in the past 20 odd years. Was going to put Carragher there but he added nothing going forward. Still he's unlucky to miss out.

Brilliant choices, may change Barney for Robbo but it would be a hard decision.

Just pleases me that we are actually spoilt for choice with our history of great players to wear the red shirt...I had actually forgotten about Hyppia, Alan Kennedy, Ray Kennedy, Steve Heighway, Gary McAllister, Ron Yeats, Roger Hunt, fecking list goes on & on etc...

WOW!...chuffed to be a supporter of Liverpool Football Club!...Just win that PL this year, lads!
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Really difficult one, I've been an LFC fan since about 86/87 but I would only have been 5 or 6 at the time so the first few years I don't really remember too well. Technically Kenny was still a player, but he rarely played

GK: only really 3 options Grobbelaar, Reina and Alisson
Full backs: Nicol, Jones, Babbel, Robertson
Centre backs: Hansen, Hyypia, Carragher, VVD
Centre mid: Gerrard, Hamann, Alonso, Mascherano, Molby
Attacking mid: Barnes, McManaman, Salah, Mane, Coutinho
                Forwards: Rush, Fowler, Torres, Suarez

That would be one hell of a 25 man squad

                Probably go for:
                --------Alisson------------
                Nicol Hyypia VVD Robertson
                -----Gerrard Alonso--------
                Salah-------------- Barnes
                -------Rush Suarez--------
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I would have Barnes instead of Suarez I think. Can't believe God is only on the bench, but then his maker is in number 9... Ace team. Emlyn on the bench as well...

As for your son's team - Owen ahead of Torres???
Hi it’s bradsdad son who originally challenged my dad to this. In response of this I loved Torres and killed me when he left however you can’t argue with Owen. He won what is now the balon do’r at Liverpool something nobody has done since. Being a kid when Owen was at the club he was what I was brought up on and my first memories. Then he joined the scum so I don’t like the guy but can’t deny him when he was at anfield!

Just another quick note to everyone the rule was only 3 subs as my dad failed to put in!

                      ———————Reina———————
                      —--Hansen—-VVD—-Lawrenson—-
                      Gerrard—Alonso—Souness—Barnes
                      —--Salah—-Dalglish—--Suarez——

I’ve gone three at the back, pace and guile in all three. Very little chance of being beaten down the sides or over the top. This would allow Gerrard and Barnes to dominate their respective flanks. Dalglish as false nine, dropping in to make a three with Alonso and Souness with Salah and Suarez narrow and running onto 100 through-balls per game.

If I had to choose one player though, PFK is the single worst player I have ever seen in a red shirt.
PFK was a shocker but Phillip Degen, Aly cissohko and Andrea dossena were equally as **** if not more so.
