i've been a pennant defender but I wasn't impressed tonight at all, appart from that one cross in the first half

He looked like he was trying hard in the first half then fizzled out later on.

I still think it is wrong to to be glad a player is injured. Better to just hope the manager leaves him on the bench or sticks him in the reserves.

Yes, equally as much with Alonso being injured.

In the first half you could hear the crowd roar with anticipation when Pennant got the ball - did some good things in the game to justify that. He went off the boil in the second half.
