No one has said 5 points clear is a disaster. No one.
Just a massive missed opportunity to get another 2 points on the board.
My worry is we have had 10 days off, sunning it in Dubai, yet we looked very tired. The lack of a spark is another worry.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Honestly. I’m pretty chilled.Originally posted by McDermotX View PostNo it's not, but both tonight and the Palace game have shown some worrying signs, and it's only gonna get tougher as the end approaches.
Throw in the CL crush now as well, and we may be wishing we had the breathing room. Who can say for certain.
I think we are going to win it. That might change
but right now City need a 5 point swing. City actually getting beaten shows far more vulnerability than is drawing.
The conditions tonight were awful. It levels the playing field and take a lot of our skilful player out of it. Firmino didn’t have the usual zip to his play.
West Ham away next, possibly with only a 2 point lead.
Has everyone got the balls for this..?

Number of times it was crying out for a central midfielder to shoot from distance. Winni just doesn't have it in him to shoot.
The pressure is so big to break this hoodo, I'm not sure we have enough to do it. The crowd play a part but they're a bag of nerves. If we don't win it this year I'm not sure we ever will.
Discounting Coutinho, when was the last time one of our midfielders had a shot on target outside the box. When was the last time. Midfielder scored out side the box? Hendo’s goal against Chelsea last season?

Wouldn't being able to bring someone like Werner on instead of Sturridge make a difference? Wish we went all out and blew some big money this Jan to make a statement. I honestly think that playing in this weather affected pretty much all of the big sides.
City and Chelsea both lost unexpectedly. Liverpool and United drew at home when both would have been expected to win and Spurs and Arsenal barely got over the line.
The ball was moving very slow tonight and the players weren't exactly moving freely off it.
We should play better but the conditions are a leveller. The ref giving us a pen would have sorted it mind.Vive la France
