Tell you who impressed me last night Ben Chilwell

I've not been that impressed previously but I thought he was excellent last night

I also didnt realise how good he is in the air

            Leftback

I can see why we were interested in him before we bought Robertson based on last nights performance

Always thought he had potential but hasnt shown it enough. Thought he was excellent last night

Would still take Robertson ahead of him mind just for levels of consistency

Apparently hes on Citys radar for a summer purchase

              van Dijk on crowd anxiety:

"Obviously you get that feeling as well from the crowd & I think it’s not really necessary at the moment. But obviously everyone wants to win so bad and that’s what we want as well. But sometimes you need to be very patient."
The anxiety at Anfield is a joke and has been for ages. Need to sort it out.

To be fair last night it started promising and the goal helped the atmosphere

The anxiety came because of our play imo

I actually thought we looked nervous and tentative in our play last night and I think its hard to tell whether thats because of the atmosphere or vice versa

What really pisses me off is that some "fans" were actually booing at full time (in the upper Main Stand). Thats just ****ing stupid. I can understand being disappointed but thats a ****ing joke

Also another point that ****ing pisses me off is Schmeichel and other keepers wasting time

All this ****e about when the ball goes out for a goalkick and keepers take the ball to the opposite side, then **** around kicking their feet against the posts

They should go back to taking the kick from the side it goes out and stop all that ****e

Referees also conveniently seem to ignore the time wasting. I have noticed that loads of them deliberately turn their backs on the keeper which gives them even more excuses to **** around

Booing this team right now is ****ing ridiculous.

We’ve not been beaten in something like 29 home matches and have won every home game except City and last night this season.

We’ve set such high standards this season that a draw feels like a catastrophe.

**** knows how our supporters would handle us losing...!

The other thing to factor in is City were much worse than us on the night before, and the pressure on them winning is much, much higher than it is on us.

Booing the team who are top of the prem by 5 points with a zero net spend in the last 5 years is just plain stupid.

Surely the booing was for the ref and his fellow, at best, totally inept officials?

I mean, if this manager cannot get the crowd going with this team, can you imagine how bad it could be when he eventually moves on. Hopefully more young fans will take over seats because the Oul Lads are sitting on thier hands it seems.

But to be fair, I was anxious about this game also, I think it was the conditions, it suited them far more than us. In many ways the team in possession in those conditions is in a far more dodgy ground defensively

Anyway, its all a learning experience. We need to hear this message from our defacto Captian and be more chill, perhaps sing when the team needs it rather than reacting to events in the game
