Just a massive missed opportunity to get another 2 points on the board.

My worry is we have had 10 days off, sunning it in Dubai, yet we looked very tired. The lack of a spark is another worry.
I don't think we looked tired. We looked more like a team that didn't want to make a mistake on a **** pitch knowing there's an opportunity to go seven points clear.

Under the circumstances, I thought we did alright.

Also, credit to Leicester, they played well and obviously want to show they're behind their manager.

What else has to happen mate, does it only count as a foul if it causes an injury or draws blood now? "Bad defending" when Alisson made that save from Firmino, erm no actually, we played them offside to perfection but the linesman just watched and totally ignored that. Didn't watch afterwards but apparently Ferdinand was spouting nonsense too, not surprising.
Savage and Ferdinand had a heated debate about whether it was a red card or not. Savage said is was a goal scoring oppurtunity and it was a red card end of. Ferdinand and Owen said the ball was not going in the direction of the goal and that Mane wasn't guaranteed to get the ball. Ferdinand was talking absolute ****e Mane vs Johnny Evans for pace like

Savage was absolutely spot on with what he was saying. If you look at the ball, the pitch slows it down (like every ball last night) and it's inline with the corner of the 18 yard box.... it's still central! Now what nobody mentioned which I thought they would is that Mane's last two goals where coming in from that exact position and angle!! Ferdinand was in proper cunt mode, made himself look like a proper manc. Peter Walton admitted after the game that it was a penalty, no **** Peter! He had to as it was pretty much one of the most blatant penos you will see & the 4 lads in the studio thought it was a pen. The galling thing about it is that Atkinson was in the perfect position to see it. How it wasn't given is beyond me, as stonewall as you will ever see.

think this is spot on. Nobody wanted to take responsibility apart from Mane. Everyone was waiting for someone else to do some thing, similar to the way City played vs Newcastle to be fair. Nobody wants to make a mistake. Those conditions killed our passing game and suited the counter of Leicester. I do think al the changes at the back has massively affecting us, last few game we have been all over the place. City looked wobbly and nervy as anything in defence too vs Newcastle.

**** it, it's done now still got a point.

Saw most of the game, Leicester have done well this season against the bigger teams, the conditions were better suited for them as well. Disappointed to draw the game, but I don't think it's a massive surprise that we drew. I think the challenge now is to find our rhythm again after the break and all the rotation in January.

Still grates how that carthorse Maguire should have seen red for taking out Mane yet remains on the pitch to equalise

But never expected City to drop points against Newcastle so we’re still a point further ahead than what we expected....

            Anyway onwards & upwards
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

As badly as we played last night, I thought that the officials were worse, I know that it's easy to blame the officials for poor results, but watching the guy score the equaliser and put a man of the match performance in when he should have been sent off is difficult to take. That was a game changing decision that the ref got wrong, the penalty was another. They were the two biggest decisions of the night and he got both badly wrong. Add to that the offside decision against Mane and the one they let go at the other end that should have been given the assistants were a joke too.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Agree with everything written this morning..!

The media got what they wanted with us not getting a pen. The entire Salah dove debate has been very tiring. That was about as clear a pen as you could wish to see.

Referees are god awful in England, look at the Newcastle game, City literally takes out their goalkeeper for the first goal, the referee is looking right at it ... no problem

We managed to get a point despite the officials doing everything in the power to make us lose that game, Mane clearly onside for a certain goal, Naby clearly fouled ref looking right at it, Maguire clearly takes out our player as the last man with a most likely 2 on 1 situatiion with the keeper .... VAR can not come quick enough

5 is really no different than 4

Reality is if we lose 2 games more than City in the run in we wont be winning the league

My thoughts were our goal was a great bit of football

Nice passing build up, then all of a sudden we stepped up the pace of our passing and carved through their 2 banks of 4

Once again we started playing the ball slowly and we looked far too open in midfield, they cut through our lines far too easily until Fabinho came on

Hes a must starter for me now (when fit)

Keita is an enigma for me, yes it was a great run and the penalty was nailed on but he was poor imo

Our best attacking player was Mane by a country mile as he carried a genuine threat all game and looked to go past people at every opportunity

VVD had an off day, didnt look at the races (maybe hes still ill) and we looked a lot more vulnerable off set pieces. They could have scored a couple more with better finishing/decision making

1 point isnt a disaster by any means but for me it doesnt really change much in the grand scheme of things

I disagree, they **** up and we don't, its an 8 point gap then. These 1 points increases add up over the course of the entire campaign.

What if we draw 2? Far more likely given we've only lost 1 all season.

5 is better than 4 though... There are other permeatatikns than win/loss.

For example if the same happens again City lose and we draw then we move to six points. It’s still better than losing, 1 point is better than none.

                                We are splitting hairs here
