No, that would be poor spelling.

What’s the retirement age going to be in England when it comes in?

Daily Fail blah blah, but this is the only article I could find on the subject and it's from a few years back:

After the superb midweek International friendly it is a low key return to the Premier League as none of the top four, nor any of the bottom four, play each other.

That gives officials outside of the top rated list the opportunity to referee televised games and it is two of the oldest who take charge on Saturday, with Phil Dowd at Tottenham and Mark Halsey at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Dowd, celebrated his 50th birthday two weeks ago to join 51-year-old Chris Foy and Halsey, 51, in the over-fifties gang who are defying the years to continue refereeing at the very top level.

There used to be a sensible retirement age of 48 but European law was cited to end the enforced retirement under the national retirement age.

Now, as long as they pass the fitness test and achieve high enough marks from the assessors each game they can continue.

Not sure where to put this but I guess here is good.

We can always do more, be better - plenty to work on

This means there is room for improvement, which is fairly encouraging. Top of our CL group and top of the league. If we can get this right and improve in forward areas, I don't know who could stop us.

I guess by the same token, it could be said we are on the verge of a bad run, but I want to err on the side of positivity.
                Are we winning?

                  Lies, damn lies and statistics.

We can get better. I’d say we can get a lot better.

Which is a terrifying prospect for the rest of Europe and the PL.

'Just imagine how far ahead they'd be' as Danny Murphy said the other night on MOTD.

'Yeah....2pts' said an uncharacteristically swift Gary Lineker.

                      That’s right.

It’s a statistical anomaly for sure. The Stat that has us 2 points from perfection negates the one that says we can’t keep a clean sheet.

We have 38% more points than City after 14 games.
                        Oh I don't know.

Have Everton sacked Silva yet? I see they're playing Leicester tomorrow, a new manager might make some difference. Otherwise it's an easy 3 points for Leicester probably.

Reached 40 points while no other team has got to 30 yet. In November. Frickin hell!
