It would be a shame if he was to leave, but is he really going to be missed?
At the moment he is a good squad option and is still young (21) so will improve.

It’s a strange one as he looks like he’d fit in that advanced midfield role. Maybe it’s the physical side and he can’t press and chase like Slot wants. I wonder what happens with him next season. I hope he has a place and can get more time because he has that something the midfield lacks.

Wrong thread to be asking this?...should there be a thread where we can discuss those *******s in black?[emoji1]
Anyway, to answer your question, I would have thought so. I think the LMA would have their own... ooh to have a peek at those!!!

Really it's just the ref and the assistant on that end. So two, not uncommon for two of them to miss something altogether.

Var did look at it IIRC and deemed it not a red.

It’s mental, if I went and did that to someone in the street I’d be charged with assault/ABH. I know football is a contact sport but this was an off the ball incident where Elliot was thrown to the ground with force.

One of the other 3 officials should have intervened and failing that, VAR should have intervened and sent the Ref to the monitor to make the decision.

The Joelinton "challenge" was about 10yds off the ball, just grabbed by the shirt collar and ragged to the floor.
