I don’t think it’s just the pace he lacks but he doesn’t seem very mobile or agile. Back in the day it wouldn’t have been an issue but with the pace of the game it stops him being able to really show his creativity.

I don’t know if that terrible ankle injury changed him but while he wasn’t rapid he wasn’t slow and was more mobile.

It’s mad, if he was at Brighton we’d be thinking he’s a 50m player off the back of tge u-21s. I guess Slot just doesn’t fancy him and we’ll get a good fee

I like him, but unless there is an injury crisis I don't see where he gets regular minutes, unless he improves or we chance system.
Aye, would be madness for him to stay. He said a few months ago that Liverpool was his club and he would stay to fight for his place, but this at the end of the season, he talked about considering his options, so he must have known Wirtz was coming.

Oh yes, I would love him to stay - but if Slot is going to be tight fisted when it comes to rotation, it wouldn't be any good for him unless he steps up a level.

Brighton would be a great club for Harv. He deserves a shot at a regular premier league place in my opinion. He's a great little player, just not good enough for us at the moment. But 10 years ago he'd have been a starter (notwithstanding the fact he'd have been 13). As pointed out - we've come a long way.

I hope we do with Elliott what we did with Quansah and include a buy back option, I think in his case we are perhaps less likely to use it but for players of this type of age, buy back and sell on clauses should be standard

Also under Klopp I think we would have kept them around perhaps out of loyalty, but Slot has a ruthless streak at the moment, it will be interesting to see if he keeps that then he has been here longer and built up stronger relationships with players
