I hope we do with Elliott what we did with Quansah and include a buy back option, I think in his case we are perhaps less likely to use it but for players of this type of age, buy back and sell on clauses should be standard

Also under Klopp I think we would have kept them around perhaps out of loyalty, but Slot has a ruthless streak at the moment, it will be interesting to see if he keeps that then he has been here longer and built up stronger relationships with players
Can we exclude his dad from any future deal....?

Maybe as it’s Brighton and we have Wirtz a sell on clause would be best. Although I think that’s his level to be honest.

That would be an amazing bit of business imo if we got that for him.

Like him as a player and think he needs a move to get regular game time, but that is a great fee.

Could see him thriving in a team like BHA. They tend to play good football and have the sort of mobile attackers that would provide runs for Harvey to pick out.

I understand he hasn’t played a lot so that would contribute but you’d hope he’d at least hold his own in his own age group. Anyway it looks like he’s moving on for game time so I’ll wish him well.

Not a poor tackle in the sense of dangerous, he stuck a lazy leg out as the Spanish player went passed him, gave him an excuse to go down.

For Elliott, it was good reactions, but it was still a tap in from 2 yards.

That blows my mind. I tend to still think of him as one for the future, full of potential with time on his side.

Unfortunately I think it'd be best for all of he were to move on this summer. No doubt he's developed as a player during his time with us but I don't think the heights that were perhaps unfairly expected.
He's had such a dreadful time with injuries and missed some development time there. I hope he lands well.

He is quick of mind but slow of everything else.

He needs games to develop. He needs to go.

But he isn't picked for the most difficult games and tends to come on later in games with fresh legs. His stats are skewed by this.

Elliott was still our second most productive player for goals and assists to time on the pitch after Salah. Wirtz is an upgrade though and has a lot more to his game with more pace and dribbling.

Shame as it would have been good to see how far he could develop, but if he couldnt get in last year then it seems like its pointless staying here, and its likely we need the cash to fund the seemingly endless purchases we have lined up.

Not really sure he could have done much more, really. Ideally he would be backup to Wirtz, but I think he will play across the front line anyway. Really need to buy some tall midfielders going forward. Wirtz Macca and Endo might struggle with high balls. Jones isnt really a physical player either. I worry a long term injury to Grav could leave us with a gaping hole at the back. After the last season where we kept it pretty boring, Im seeing lots of high scoring games with our 2-2-6 formation [emoji16]
