We are in a position where we are 100% relying on Naby Keita staying fit for the reengineer of the season unless we sign someone else.

You and I have tossed this particular ball about way too much.
I would love it if we could reengineer the season !

Not strengthening in this department is completely negligent.

He’d only make 10 PL appearances for us and Fulham in total before the start of the season. It’s farcical really.

It is a new year and Kenneth seems to be the voice of reason. We're all doomed

Elliott's performances are a reflection of Klopp's selection and demands of the player. Harvey should still be coming off the bench as an impact sub like he was a couple of seasons ago to good effect (pre-injury). We need an experienced centre mid with bags of energy to be the go to midfield dynamo who can start the press and defend well when required. Too much pressure on both Elliott and Carvahlo's young shoulders this season - and it's glaringly obvious to everyone.

Totally agree, not his issue that we have thrown him in to the team now; especially when being shoe-horned in to a position that 1; does not suit him & 2;does not suit the team...........

I don't like singling out players. It's something I used to do and I find it immature and unhelpful now but two players have really let us down this season: Gomez and Elliot.

I agree the other players haven't been great but look what happened away to Villa when Elliot didn't start. Thought we played better than usual and looked similar to our old selves.

Every game he's started, we look disjointed bar one or two. It's like playing with 10 men as he just shadows Salah in attack and is not strong enough defensively.

He's not up to it at the moment in midfield, as a back up to the front 3 I think he'd be fine but it's not working in midfield.

Sadly that could be said for most of our midfield this season.

We've gone downhill since he started playing. It's been pointed out to me by rival fans looking in from the outside and I find it very noticeable too. I think like everyone else, I've bit my lip till recently, but wow, what a blind-spot this has been for Klopp.

He was always slow. He got away with looking quicker because teams hadn't worked him out then. Sadly, they've worked him out now and he has nothing in his locker to counter that (killer passing, speed, goals, etc, nothing).
