Van Der Berg looked some player today. Composed and never put a foot wrong. One occasion he killed a high ball dead inside the penalty area under some pressure. Hoever was a rock alongside him, played with a swagger of an awesomely talented young player. Same can be said of Curtis Jones. He's got some confidence this lad. Neco Williams was probably our best player today - should have scored. Lewis and especially Chirivella deserve a mention. Chirivella must not be too far from a few games in our first team. He hardly loses the ball.

I think we will have senior shielding players all over the pitch, so that some of the kids have always got protection.They did it today, and those positive mental experiences now need to be protected more than anything. Klopp will sort it

Just looking at this half a million claim that we cost them by picking a weaker side. 180k they would have got for beating the kids and a good shout at least a share of 250k for the lowest ranked team from league 1 left in. And that assumes a full strength team from us would have sold out a stadium at 37 a ticket (lowest price excluding the 9 quid tickets available in pl because let's face it this ain't a catagorey a game).
