Think Jurgen knew this was coming.. team have been scraping wins rather than cruising. Winter break has really killed our rhythm.

Yeah they played well, one of the few teams to have a go at us home and away.

Yes, completely. Our front 5 couldn't string more than 2 passes together for most of the game. Midfield failed to stop the counter attacks and win the ball high up the pitch, we created sweet **** all in 95+ mins, even with 6 up front late on. Unlike Trent, he wasn't directly responsible for any of the goals. So blaming the cb is really stupid.

I think normally we can get by with one midfielder/one of front three being off it but when two of your four defenders are shaky, it’s no surprise we lost really. They did well to target them too.

But then you could argue that the defense were under pressure because we gave them the ball so often and failed to win the ball back with our press.

Defence has been under pressure plenty of times this season but we’ve handled it better than that. First time I’d say we looked shaky.

Apart from Trent's hospital pass, we didn't do any worse at the back than against west ham. We conceded from a set piece at athletico. But conceding a goal or two isn't usually a problem when we dominate the ball and score goals, and our failure further up the pitch was the biggest difference today. That's not to say that conceding in the last few games isn't an issue, it clearly is.
