First defeat of the season and we're about to hit March, it's still remarkable and Coronavirus notwithstanding, we still have a record points total in site.

In hindsight I'd have played Matip, his runs and passes in midfield would have been very useful today.

I suppose the plus side is Everton, Man City and Arsenal won't be drooling over the prospect of ending our unbeaten run. Rather Watford than any of those.

I'd still play a second XI on Tuesday, and make sure those who are considered regular starters are angry, and focused on putting things right against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Deeney did a number on Lovren today. Targeted him second half and two of the goals stemmed from that. It reminded me of his performance vs Spurs a couple of years ago when Kane tore him to shreds. Losing Gomez was a blow.
