Definitely, I was fairly, IRWT but, the evidence that he could deliver was based on the fact that he was in fact hamstrung by the board (a fair assumption) and other than that we would be sweeing all before us. We never got to find out.Originally posted by Alex View PostOf course it is.
I might be old. Back in the day there used to be a bit of a forum Meme with "IRWT" In Rafa We Trust. Or "RCDNW" Rafa Can Do No Wrong.
But now more than then even, I think IKWT actually means something as he has proven him and his team nails it.
With the In Klopp we Trust it is based on the fact they have smashed it out of the park. The alchemy involved in some of the signings allied to the fact they have delivered the big two trophies in 2 seasons throw in the fact that we are amazing to watch.
So I'm all in.
Previously all we had at this time of year was signings and the team we might be to get excited about. Now it's the actual team we have and the trophies.

Look at this silly cunt. Rabid United fan he is, all he ever tweets about (these days) is United's history.
You can see him losing faith in his own desperate claims as the words tragically tumble out of his mouth. He knows the ludicrous mental gymnastics he's performing are falling apart - like including Chelsea to make him appear fair
even though they were completely different Chelsea teams and who won the CL about 6 years after their PL titles.
He's desperately trying to find criteria which more or less make only a couple of his beloved United teams 'great' and disqualifies this LFC side. Laughable.

Yes, the players and the manager were completely different. Yes, it was 6 years apart. But you cant say Liverpool getting to two Champions League finals and winning one of them, then winning the league the following season with 7 games to go, all while only signing one player can be considered great.
You just cant.
*Except Michael, who died.

We got more points last season (97) than any Man Utd team ever (92) even though we didn't win the league. We won the CL last year and we won the league this year (and will probably again get more points than any Man Utd team ever have again) Yet we're not a great team
You can guarantee that if we win the league next year he will say you have to win 3 in a row to be considered a great team...The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Everywhere, there’s this desperate scramble to rewrite the ‘Great Team’ criteria. Purely to conveniently exclude this Liverpool side.
The hilarious fallout of this is that by their own reasoning, they suddenly can’t include the Arsenal Invincible's anymore. After 16 years of never failing to be mentioned!.

He can only make it a credible point if he at least acknowledges we've been pretty ****ing good. We score loads of goals and let in barely any with by his reckoning a ****e midfield. And what is the Man U rennaissance based upon?
Basically just a load of Man U supporting nobodies with a platform to spout ****e, clinging on to their glory days. As has been mentioned, we have been in that position many, many times over the last three decades. Talk is cheap.
Let's see what happens next season then. This season, we have won nearly every game we've played, posting record numbers in back to back seasons. What more can we do?Modifying post.

Cheers brother. Totally agree.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.
