If you are going to go for a ball like that ahead of the keeper, then smash it out of the park. No need to be clever.
I suspect the coaches will need to have a word because that was similar to the Arsenal goal. He needs to reset.
Looks a threat at the other end though. Back to back league goals. He could pick up a few.Modifying post.

The good thing with this set up and team is there is zero bull****.
They know.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to BBC MOTD: "A lot of people said Leeds can cause us problems and they did. We conceded three goals and that means we made some mistakes. They forced us to make mistakes. We have to work on that, we will work on that, and we will be better.
"We were ready for a fight, I like that. I love the desire we showed. We didn't stop and I like that.
"We will analyse the game. We had mistakes. We have to continue to work. We have to make sure we are prepared next game."Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk, speaking to BBC MOTD: "I enjoyed the win for sure. We knew it was going to be very intense and we knew it was going to be tough.
"It's early on in the season and there are many things we can improve. We will work on it.
"It's totally what we expected from Leeds. At times we could have done better but the most important thing is the three points.
"Leeds are going to cause a lot of teams problems because of the way they play. Credit to them."Modifying post.

A lot of overreaction on here after the first game of the season. We've shipped 3 goals and still came out winners, which has got to be a positive. Plus, I thought some of our attacking play was very good at times and I liked how we started the game. Obviously there were mistakes, but I thought that Leeds pushed us into making some of these mistakes.
Trent wasn't at the races and you'd think this was normal, as he had a pre season on his own and was away with England for more than a week. It was a bit of a squad patched up from returning players from international duty and the ones who were training with different methods while they were away. Nothing to be concerned about really as I'm sure we'll sort these out quickly. Are we winning?

One things looked to do today was attack the spaces behind our ful back which pulls Gomez and VVD out of position.
I noted that Robbo in particular stopped his forward runs a bit second half. We are ****ing good so teams will look to find new ways of playing against us. But we need to have a game that doesn’t allow them to dictate. We looked immense at times first half. And that’s twice (Chelsea and today) that teams have turned up. Thrown the lot at us. Got a few goals.
And lost

We had a few decent chances from open play but there was some poor finishing, could/should have had at least a couple more, we need to work on our finishing as we haven't been clinical in front of goal since the restart. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's also like 2019/20 where we just keep finding ways of winning games. Even if it's in the dieing embers of the game.Originally posted by greenturnip View PostWe’ve been a bit **** on and off since March. Does anybody expect us to keep a clean sheet? It’s like 2013-14 - we’ll need to outscore the opposition. Strap yourselves in - it’s gonna be a exciting ride!
It's way too early in the season to draw any conclusions on anything yet though.
I only caught the second half today and it was entertaining.
I honestly have no idea how this season is going to pan out. I suspect it could be quite the ride though.Oh I don't know.

We were great going forward but poor at the back, we're capable of that sometimes and yes towards the end of last season we were poor but the league was won.
We'll be absolutely fine, it's easily the best team we've had in some time and no doubt we'll terrorise more times again this year. Up the Reds lads!Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

I've watched it again this morning and I still can't understand what he was thinking with that flick. Barmy.Originally posted by Irishnev View Post

I think the suggestion in the match was that he was trying to just play a clever little flick away from Bamford to Robertson.Originally posted by Venton View PostI've watched it again this morning and I still can't understand what he was thinking with that flick. I understand what he was attempting but there are so many reasons why you should be rejecting that thought the moment it enters your head. Too many things to go wrong.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI think the suggestion in the match was that he was trying to just play a clever little flick to Robertson.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad
