Chelsea are a good team, but I was surprised their tactics were to sit back today. Particularly after their recent game at Anfield, and Leeds for us last week.

The sending off put paid to that though.

Very good performance from us, we didn't create much in the first half but dominated against a side that didn't fancy playing toe to toe. Spending £200m and parking the bus at home, maybe Lampard is the next Mourinho?

The red card gave us more control and space and the 2 early goals killed it! Would have been perfect if not for the penalty, we nearly saw a game out without a nervy moment
