This is a great take on our season
I am super positive, always have been and being Irish even more so . I also have ridiculously high expectations but because we are doing so well on and off the pitch what is there to complain about.......I moaned and still do during games - same as the rest of the lads but I have stopped going on social media/forums during the game because it’s not helpful

I genuinely think we still win the league easily

I feel the same way. It may be a bit more of an arduous journey, but I think our class will see us across the line with a bit to spare.

I think Man City will win it.

I've said this previously but when VVD and Gomez got injured I thought that it would be defensive frailties that cost us points, as the players coming in would struggle and cost us goals. While the players that have come in at the back have been making mistakes now and then they aren't really the problem, the issue really has been the lack of goals I always feel that you need to score (at least) 2 goals to win a game, and that is particularly the case when the defence isn't as solid as it was, and that isn't happening at the moment. Aside from the Villa and Everton games every game we have dropped points in we have failed to score more than 1. We wasted alot of chances yesterday, if we had won by 4 I don't think Newcastle could have complained given the chances that we had. As well as the front three being more clinical we need a goal threat from elsewhere in the team and we don't have that, no one other than Salah, Mane, Firmino and Jota has more than 1 PL goal this season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

              I didn't insult anyone. Personally

Not like you to be contrary though?

I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

I see. Odd to say that in the same thread that you did though.

Who did the the Fulham thread?

Plus, I returned the Thiago that you broke. You’re welcome

I’ve long since resigned myself to not being the ‘go to’ guy for match threads. I could point to a few useful wins I’ve provided, but I’m above that.

There’s only one show in town.

I'm so stressed right now with so many things, that this thing called football is supposed to be a pleasant experience, some relief from real life, yet it's turned into anthing but. It's bad for my health and all round wellbeing. Until fans come back and var does one, I'm calling a halt to the charade. Sorry for coming across cunty. I do still hold the belief that a match thread is the place to comment at the time things are occurring, not to be read after the event. Football is emotive, everybody is different.
Agreed, I don't mind the positive outlooks but that's the view across a whole season, we can still whinge about specifics from the game at hand.

I think we were total **** yesterday and it pissed me off for a while. This is absolutely the right place to vent about the performance. But as a whole, we're still in a good place.
