Aye, especially as we could rest a few and still put out a strong team if we had a good lead from the first leg.

Be a good way to get minutes into the legs of the likes of Konate, Gomez, Tsimikas, Firmino and those that would fall in the one or the other group in terms of the first like like Henderson or Keita, Diaz or Jota etc.

Would do similar against the red mancs after we play the blue mancs tomorrow though with less being swapped out.

Pop Tsimikas, Konate and whichever pacy attacker gets left out against City into the team against Man U.

Think our squad is good enough now in certain positions for us to rotate on a semi regular basis to keep legs fresh.

LB, CB, wide forward, and one of the CM slots with Keita and Henderson being the guys that come in and out in games where we should be able to manage without one of Thiago and Fab.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

If we get through against Villarreal we will play in every posssible game this season. I know we did it with Houllier, but that was the UEFA Cup. This really is the most special squad of players we have ever had.

Cant see City dropping points at home in the next two unfortunately. West Ham and Wolves away might be tricky but both teams seem to be struggling of late.

We will see. I think they will lose more points than expected. We have the momentum.
                Are we winning?

Brighton beat Arsenal and Spurs so you never know….. their style seems suited to City though

Liverpool (9) are the first club since Newcastle United in 1959/60 (9), to score as many as nine goals versus Man United in a single top flight season.

Mohamed Salah (5) becomes the first player to score as many as five Premier League goals versus Man United in a single season.

and between the two games we probably only tried for about 90 of the 180 minutes!

Pogba was pretty good too. Sent off after 15 minutes then subbed off after 10

Liverpool have now qualified for next season's CL, with 5th place Arsenal 22 points behind and 7 games left to play!

Their recent form says there is more chance of them dropping points than of us doing likewise.

Even discounting cup games (which would make our form look even better and their's a little worse) and only looking at league games, we are 9 wins and 1 draw from the last 10 games.

They from the last ten league games are 6 wins, 3 draws and a loss.

And all their wobbles came after we started going on our long run of form. Coincidence or maybe buckling a little under the pressure of being chased so hard?

Either way we are in machine mode.

They outplayed us in the league but couldn't finish us off. Then we battered them in the Cup. We're definitely the more in form team, but I fear City are still more than good enough for the fairly mediocre opposition they have left in the league.

All we can do is keep winning and hope they make a mistake. If not it will be really cruel on us and a hard one to take.
