    This is it!

Another week of a disappointing draw followed by a strong European performance. West Ham are in form and looking good after a strong win against Aston Villa but they followed that up with a disappointing away draw against Genk.

Hopefully playing at home, resting on the ball and the extra day's rest/training will see us get all three points against the Hammers!

Robbo, Jota, Chamberlain to start and the rest picks itself.

      Matip to partner VVD.

Not sure Thiago will be ready despite his cameo midweek.

What is peoples obsession with playing Ox?? He had his best game in years against Atelti and he still wasn't that good.

              Fab, Hendo, Thiago or Jones

              Thats the midfield.

What is with your irrational hatred

Don’t worry - if he becomes consistently good we won’t dredge up all the posts where you said he was finished

I’d personally have Ox ahead of Jones right now.

big win required here. Will be a tough game - Moyes is doing really well for them - probably his best stint as a manager since he was at Everton.

I would like to see Matip play with VVD........and a midfield of Fab, Hendo and Thiago.

Hopefully our front 3 of Mane, Salah and Jota will have too much for them.

Perfect weekend would be United somehow managing to scrape a draw at home to City - #Ole@thewheel - and Burnley following up their first win of the season last weekend by getting something at Stamford Bridge as well.......all followed by LFC smashing the hammers.

Super tough game on paper. West Ham have had a brilliant start to the season.

Antonio always seems to have a great game against us too.

Jones and Gomez out until after the International break.

                        Firmino out for a while.

Roberto Firmino sustained a serious hamstring injury during Liverpool’s win over Atletico Madrid, Jürgen Klopp has confirmed.

The Brazilian picked up the issue after coming on at half-time of Wednesday’s 2-0 victory at Anfield and is facing a period on the sidelines.

Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com on Friday: “Bobby is not good news with a serious hamstring injury, really unfortunate. We don’t know exactly how long he will be out but it will be not now after the international break directly. We have to work on that.”

Meanwhile, Joe Gomez (calf) and Curtis Jones will also miss Sunday’s trip to West Ham United, but the boss hopes the duo will be available again soon after the international break.

Klopp continued: “Curtis is a completely different story [to Firmino], he was very unlucky in training – he got a finger that scratched the eye. I had a lot of injuries to players in my career, that was not involved. He is on the way back but we have to see how long exactly.

“He will be back after the international break, for sure, but in the international break we have to see when he can start doing proper stuff again.

“And Joey, hopefully after the international break as well.”

Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara are set to be in contention for this weekend’s visit to London, however, after both made their returns from injury against Atletico.

“Very important, you see that. Fab was clear – he was not that long out – that he can maybe go, how we decided then 60 minutes,” Klopp stated.

“And swapping that with Thiago was probably exactly the right thing to do, now they should be both a big step ahead, so all good.”

^^ the minor upside to the new about Bobby is that he isn't going to be joining up with the Brazilian national team next week
