    Look at this **** FFS.

Just casually walks up and unloads pepper spray/tear gas on fans walking through the gates ffs.

Hope the club stand up for the fans and demand some answers
Can't believe no one is responding to these posts. It's disgraceful how that was policed and managed. Still haven't quite processed it all but they shouldn't be allowed to host another final. Not after that

Big downer today, fan park was epic, but a prologue of what was to come at stadium. Loads of riot police and access to the park thru two riot vans. An absolute cluster**** by the police.

it needs to be some sort of tangible punishment. The fact that the travelling support have been completely victimised here , needs to be vindicated and they deserve a HUGE apology to go along with the ban.

It looked and sounded horrendous if anyone was caught up in it.

I wonder what the difference was between this and the many other matches (not football obviously) that they have there, I’ve never been but it’s not as if it’s a stadium with zero experience of big occasions. Even this season when France won the 6 nations against England it was a sell out.

I wonder if security is different for football, or if it’s given to another organisation? Whatever though there need to be questions asked.

UEFA ticketing policies and procedures, mixed with poor planning and customary French Police brutality. And lots of local scallies who couldn’t give a **** about rugby or Bon Jovi but who couldn’t stay away from the biggest game in football.

They were talking about french "gangs" targeting supporters. Whats that all about?

I’ll try and say this without putting my foot in it..

The stadium is near an area of high density apartment housing, much of it social housing. France, and many places to be fair, has a tendency to effectively ghettoise it’s immigrant population, and it’s non-immigrant underclass, into such areas which can cause problems with criminality and gangs. One of the world’s biggest and highest profile events turns up on the doorstep and it’s seen as rich pickings.

They rushed the gates to bunk in, swiped tickets, mugged people at knife point, swiped phones. They were lining the streets goading supporters coming out. Police didn't give a **** outside, and the gates were overwhelmed before that. Wasn't sure whether to be more scared of the police or the gangs to be honest. Absolutely grim

But they have sell out International Rugby matches and concerts there all the time. Maybe they lack the profile. Maybe a sign of the times.

I stayed in the area and that's the impression I got, although to be fair everything was civil and seemed safe before the Saturday. The person I stayed with told me that the area policed itself to a certain extent, and that she felt safe walking there on her own, even at night. It's was only on the Saturday when things got ugly

Coupled with all ****ty narratives about scousers causing trouble, scousers nicking tickets, Tweets about fake tickets and blagging their way in, Madrid fans having zero issues etc.

This tribalism dehumanises fans when really people should be concerned that they could have been the ones in this position.

I remember the Euro 96 game against Holland was fantastic, zero issues (that I saw), no issues getting in, good bit of banter with Dutch fans before and after.

                              England winning 4-1 or 4-0 would've helped

Yeah but I'm particularly calling out the events before the match - it was calm, well organised and pretty family friendly.
