The super league ****ed up though imo. They should have started off as a pre-season competition, got Amazon or someone like that on board with different offerings and promoted the **** out of it initially.

Nah that's bollocks.

It was only made after the independent report was released. Even the wording was all 'we made the comments in good faith....but we know now".......when in reality it was clear at the time and became more and more clear straight after the game.

The apology was so insincere.......
