Pickpocketed. I'd lost my mates - it was moody as **** post match, gangs in operation, bizzies battering fans - so I found a quiet ish back street bar, had a pint, then went for a pizza, and after that headed towards a pal's hotel at about 2am. This French lad comes over, walks alongside me and goes "hey, you want some weed?"...I went "no mate". He's still walking alongside and gets really close and asks if I want weed again. I'm like "no I don't, **** off" and he walked away. 100 yards or so later went to get my phone to check the directions and it had gone, clean out of my pocket. Couldn't ****ing believe it.

My train out of Paris was 9.20am, so I had the whole night to kill with no phone that had all my money on it, train and flight tickets, obviously couldn't contact anyone ffs. Was an utter nightmare. Police didn't wanna know, shrugging, laughing..."not our problem, nothing we can do" etc. Streets were full of marauding gangs and I was convinced I was gonna get ****ed over so I went to Gare du Lyon for like 6.30am and just waited there for 3 hours ffs.

Long history of French cops being cunts. Very heavy handed top down policing with a Napoleonic Code of you're guilty until you can show you're innocent approach. It's a real blight on French Culture tbh.

Madrid (the club) have also complained I think? Read a few first hand accounts on twitter in Spanish. Certainly doesn't sound as bad but they had problems

It was without doubt the moodiest place I've ever been to, certainly after dark. Just absolutely horrible.
Exactly the same coming out of the ground too. Scary when it's pretty obvious the police are joining in the intimidation rather than helping

Sadly, it isn't. It is all too predictable.

70%? **** off! There would be 60,000 fans stuck outside with genuine ones if that was the case

                      True..

Ms Oudea-Castera said the meeting - which included police, stadium officials and the French Football Association - had been arranged in an effort to "draw lessons" from the event.
So the French police, French stadium officials and French FA met and decided it was the fault of the fans. Shocking

70%? Utter ****e! Stadium holds 80k, where did the 56k people with dodgy tickets disappear to after being turned back? Sky report showed empty gates outside during the game.

French authorities spinning a story to protect the incompetent.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

70% of tickets were fake and it holds 80,000, then that would have been 187,000 fake tickets?

I got into the ground ok but I was really early - had a bit of a nightmare on a tram at around 330pm so I sacked off the fan-park, got something to eat and made my way to the ground.

A mate of mine left the fan park early enough and got to the ground ok too - i was having scoops with him from 530pm up until about 715pm when we said goodbye. I went to Gate S which was ok - he went to Gate Z (I think) which was a nightmare apparently. He got in ok but saw the ****show unfolding.

Getting out of the ground, I have a load of the natives shouting "Hala Madrid" at me as well - they were trying to goad Liverpool fans - and if anyone took the bait then it would have kicked off. I went to the Metro station where it was a bit hairy but I ended up getting a taxi instead as my hotel was nearer to CDG. Thank **** I did because I would have been on my own if I was heading on public transport out there.

I used to go to Paris a bit with herself when we lived in London.....and the nostalgia for going back there was well and truly gone now. I have a friend that was on about going to the rugby world cup next year and there's no ****in way I would now. I wouldn't go if it was a free trip.

Air France ****ed me over as well getting back to Amsterdam airport......so i ended up going via Heathrow, tube across London, train to Lime Street and then drive out to LJL airport to pick up my car.

                                Cunts.
