I even admitted to it before - I like watching it but I get pissed off when we lose and I have enough **** in my life to worry about than whether a bunch of millionaires can be bothered to put in a shift in order to lighten my mood.

If I just watch the highlights then I won't have as big an emotional investment so either outcome won't affect me as much.

Possibly. I was very disappointed we lost the CL Final but within an hour of full time. I couldn't care. Although in truth that might have been due to the incompetence of Merseyrail and being quoted obscene rates for ubers

The CL loss still stings for me and it has taken on a new dimension now, as it feels like we burnt ourselves out for nothing last season.

I care but it isn’t what it used to be which was all encompassing, the CL final took a few days though. Winning that is rare and we fully deserved it in the night

Yep. Those analysts who work out how much we have in the tank and the size of our squad should've planned the season better. In fairness though we didn't burn out early in 3 of the competitons, only the CL, but we did suffer through not having the league sorted whereas Madrid were well rested.

We did look off it in both of the domestic finals though and couldn’t find a way to score.

Our results affect my mood way more than they should in all honesty so I totally understand FB’s stance on just watching the highlights in stead of getting up in the middle of the night to be disappointed, tired & irritable.
