I reckon you are right. Klopp strikes me as the type who reaches a certain point with someone that if you cross that point there is no way back. We've given permacrock every chance. He has no right to feel aggrieved.

I was wondering this too, but given the guy can get injured doing nothing you wouldn't be surprised if he was out for 6 months, so I just assumed it was injury. IMO we should have sold him this summer at the latest if we could have found a buyer. I don't see the point in offering him a new contract, he's never available, and when he is he's not good enough to be a starter. He's been here 4 years an is nowhere near the player we thought we were getting
