Draw that and we've got a great chance of qualifying.

Napoli are making a good start in the league, apparently unearthed a Georgian Maradona no less. Will be very tough.

There's no chance we're not progressing from that group, especially as united will have bought any half decent bum from Ajax.

Hey, ya forgetting that Ajax have a decent conveyor belt of talent going on there so who knows what they have up their sleeve & unleash it on us!

Ajax are interesting this season, they've brought in Bergwijn, Wijndal, some Bassey from Rangers and a Mexican right back.

Leaving them are, besides Ten Hag, Mazraoui, Haller, Antony, Lisandro, Gravenberch and Per Schurrs. That's some upheaval tbh. Sure they filled their coffers but their first team is very changed. They could be in big trouble in the CL.

That is sort of their business model though.

It is almost impossible for them to compete at the top level as they will never produce the revenue to afford to retain their top players. They also have a virtual monopoly in the dutch league, so their players are always going to look good.

Oh, yeah they really hit the jackpot as well with Ten Hag going to United, otherwise they'd never have got so much money for those two.

Wonder if he’ll be back after the group stages, or whether he’ll still be at the club after the January window.

I reckon he's gone. Something fishy with this all IMO. He was fine, then suddenly all those rumours that he wants to leave to get more playing time (even though he's permanently injured), and he's suddenly injured again and bombed out of the CL squad.....Klopps ripped his head off, no other explanation

I reckon you are right. Klopp strikes me as the type who reaches a certain point with someone that if you cross that point there is no way back. We've given permacrock every chance. He has no right to feel aggrieved.
