Did anyone else see one of the Newcastle staff throwing a bottle at the Liverpool bench after the winner? I’m finding these ****house tactics becoming more prevalent in football. Can’t take your top off to celebrate and show some emotion but waste time, lay on the ground and fake head injuries are all ok.

Constantly loses possession when taking players on where before he didn't, he's nowhere near as dangerous as he was. At 300-400k a week his wages stop us signing others.

This is a worry... He looks like a pub footballer when he runs at the moment.

Problem is he has not really looked himelf since he went to the Afcon Cup.

Doesnt help the rest of the team is poor, especially Trent.

Milner is way too slow to play at right back. Id say we need someone there as a backup as a priority.

I think he is just too slow. He cant turn and run if someone gets past him. To expect him to run the line too... I think the position is just too dynamic for him now. As a backup sub, thats fine. Cant help feel we should have kept Neco, until we had a replacement.

Trent needs that sort of shock. We’ve not been at our best but he has been poor for a while. He just seems so casual, it is really frustrating because he has so much talent just lacks intensity and therefor makes sloppy mistakes.

But he clearly has great ability to turn and run, and find a pass. I think he should be playing in Bobby's position. I think Bobby was poor again. Apart from the goal, he keeps giving the ball away in unforced error, mainly because he looks to lazy to take a touch first. His first time ball is nowhere near as good as it used to be. I cant help thinking that Diaz and Salah need to start inside a bit more though. Everyone seems too far apart, and when they are wide they want to cut in.

Elliot hasn't got the physical stature to lead the attack; he'd be bullied by most centre backs and would lack the threat of outrunning them. Plus Núñez will be leading the attack anyway, so the point is moot.

Bobby does not lead the attack though.
He drops off into midfield. He rarely gets into the box while in possession

Yeah he’ll need to hit the gym for a while before being effective in Bobbys deep lying position. He’s finding pockets of space on the right that won’t be there in the middle against good teams.

Yeah ****house tactics with time wasting from the off. Made the victory that much sweeter.

Oh and the penalty we should have been given 5 seconds before they had the 2nd goal ruled out for offside.
