Every game bar Bournemouth has felt like groundhog day and the team has some pretty big problems imo...and quite a few of them.

Hate feeling so fed up with the Reds but we are where we are. I feel like everyone else has improved and we've stood still. I reckon this is a malaise that is here for a while. Would love to be proved completely wrong.
I think it’s the hangover from chasing the quad. To come so close.

I’m Scottish ( have I mentioned that?) so witnessing agonising defeat is pretty standard in my lifetime

I genuinely don’t think we’ve been that bad in most of the games I’ve watched. Not perfect - but not far of and we are creating lots.

Yep, losing in Paris is a tough one to come back from. Eye of the Tiger is required.

I think we've had our day in the sun and we're now a top 4 team. City's billions is putting them further ahead.

It’s not about any lingering disappointment from last season for me.

It’s purely how we’re looking this season. Our midfield is looking stretched and weak.
The injuries compounding our overdue need to strengthen and refresh this area anyway.

And our intensity has dropped off a cliff. No idea if that’s due to last season’s exertions, a botched pre-season, or a change in approach. Or a combination of things. But our identity isn’t there at the moment.

Whatever the reason, it’s just not the LFC we’re used to from the past 5 or 6 seasons.

Pep’s book has jinxed us - all this talk of intensity and we’re running on fumes

Agreed. There are so many issues.

                Robertson: fallen off a cliff

                Trent: even worse

                VVD - nowhere near it

                Midfield - ****ed

And I just don't get the attack. Salah miles away from goal, in another postcode to Diaz. The days of the classic front 3 linking up and ripping teams apart feels a lifetime ago. Now it's all disjointed and dysfunctional. I worry that the intensity of the previous 4-5 years has taken its toll, mentally and physically. I could go on. Just so many issues.

Aren't we bottom of the league in distance covered and high intensity sprints? Something we've always been 1st or 2nd in?

Add all that to a hangover from last season and Paris, and it feels like a grim state of affairs to me and as a bad loser, I'm struggling to deal with it after all the riches of the past 5 years or so

Having said all that, we'll probably turn in a vintage performance tonight, win, and make me look a cunt. I hope so.

It feels to me everything we are creating are mostly scruffy half chances. Nothing much clear. I know you can point to hitting the woodwork a lot (Fulham, Everton), but we're not ripping teams apart like we did and everything is a real struggle.

Tonight is going to be a massive test and should give us a clearer idea of where we are at. I'm dreading it, but hope to be made a fool of.

It's not hindsight but I hated that ****e about a coach writing a book. I doubt it's made a jot of difference but it's as stupid as a Netflix documentary.

We have been so spoilt for the last few years with a team of mentality monsters.

It does feel like something drastic needs to happen for us to rise again.

Being over dramatic but if when Klopp finishes we only have 1 title, I will hate football as he/we deserved more.

I think even last season we had to slog to win games, its gone up a few notches this year.

                        Free hit tonight imo.

If we can't get 10 points from 3 homes and Rangers/Ajax away we don't deserve to go through.

Rangers currently getting pummelled by Ajax. 3 down at HT.

Rangers sold their best player to Ajax for £30m in the summer.

                              Bench looks good.

I reckon we will see Arthur tonight.
