Oh really? I must pay more attention

We definitely look less coherent when he is not on the pitch. Starting to be one of the first names on the team sheet.
      Modifying post.

Is it just me or does he seem very passive? I imagine him sitting down in feature chair, with a woolen polar neck jumper to read a Dickensian novel with a glass of port and a selection fine cheeses.

He’s a clever lad, you can see that in the press briefings and social stuff. I’d like him to be more aggressive for sure but he’s not a midfielder…… especially not vs Enzo F, Sterling and James overloading down his side. Play him there when we dominate possession, not when we are defending a lot

Wish he put his boot through the ball early on instead of passing (poorly) to Mo

He's not a midfielder, I really think he needs to be playing the Firmino role, I thought we really missed that yesterday.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Its frustrating, as he is perfect in that role.

                      Maybe Jones wasnt fit?
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I think this is the problem with a small squad, an injury or two and you end up moving people about and putting square pegs in round holes and the team is all the weaker for it.

Just saw someone on FB suggesting he’s out for around 6 weeks. Any word?

Dutch media have now reported that Gakpo will be out for at least a few weeks with no chance he will play a part in his country's international fixtures later this month. Liverpool return to Europe League action against Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday before a trip to Brighton on Sunday

                            This sounds more promising

                              I wouldn't have thought he'd had a scan yet?
