He can cover the left sided midfield role, big and strong (beefy) good with both feet.

Brilliant news. Looked excellent at the WC and seemed to be one of those players that pops up in the right spots for goals

Of course, he’s played most of his games for PSV as a winger but I actually think Jürgen might play him in the centre at least some of the time because he’s 6ft 4 and very quick. Also can potentially replace Salah, when he eventually leaves.

He looks built for the pace and physicality of the prem.

Can also play central forward too, so he covers about 4 positions.

          Incredible fee too.
OK this makes a whole lot more sense now. Hopefully he isn't instead of Bellingham though. Thanks for the info, have 5 ⚽ ⚽ ⚽ ⚽ ⚽

Looks like a massive upgrade on Ox. That CM/AM that can break from midfield and score goals, which we're desperately lacking.

              How good are surprise signings!!

I don't know anything about him and I didn't see him at the world cup but if everyone here is creaming themselves then it seems we've signed a ****ing good player!

A Dutch advanced midfielder that scores goals? He'll be our new Wijnaldum then.

He’s primarily a winger but did play AM for the Dutch in a few games.

I think he’d be an excellent AM in an LFC central three.

With a market value increase of 172.7% (+€38m) Gakpo is among the top 10 players in terms of market value growth in 2022. With that in mind, Liverpool signing the player now for around €40-50 million is a sensible move. The Reds initially planned to sign the Dutch striker next summer but with competition ramping up—Man United was one of just many clubs interested—Jürgen Klopp opted to pull the trigger now.

Good signing, My guess is that he is Bobby's replacement. We need three or four decent signings to reinvigorate the squad and he is a good start. Welcome and good luck

He's 6ft 3. Nunez and Diaz both tall players too. Bellingham heavily linked and also 6ft+. A new theme in our recruitment?

That was always the way under Klopp - Pep L convinced him about the midgets
