It wasn't just the header, he looked much more lively. Been walking in quick sand for months. Much better.

Yes he looked lethargic when we needed high energy. Not sure what was up but it was much better today.

I loved how he took on the defender and won a corner - he's actually pretty quick!

Definitely a bromance with him & Curtis Jones going on.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

This is great from Mac Alister

Alexis Mac Allister turning to Gakpo mid interview: "Let me say something. I am really happy for this guy. He has been working really, really hard. He is a guy who works really hard and he is a good leader for the group."
he did look more aggressive and was zipping around everywhere, it was great to see.

From the behind the scenes videos and various interviews it’s clear that he is a very popular member of the group. Curtis seems to love the guy judging by his podcast interview. He’s a skilful player, he can finish and with a little more confidence and aggression he can succeed.

Its good to see that he has taken on board the critique from the est hive mind.

Totally agree, made a similar comment about a month ago about him regressing lately, hopefully this is a massive 180 consistent turnaround hence forth...

He looks way better playing left than he does through the middle.

That was always his position before he came here wasn’t it?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Plus it’s the position he says he wants to play.

It looks like somebody has told him to not fall down when an opponent so much as breathes on him. He has looked a lot more robust the past couple of appearances.

Scores some goals but I still don't get him as a player.

Definitely looked better from off the left and I’d be happy to give him a run of games there. Diaz infuriates me more often than not.
