Like Gakpo but yeah Isak as a replacement for Nunez would be an upgrade for sure.

This is it for me, I don't like buying players with injury records and hoping they will improve it almost never happens, and there is nothing more frustrating than feeling we would have won the league if XXX had been fit
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Seems a cheap shot picking someone out in a 6 3 away win. He wasn't bad I just thought he was bang average. A bit like the meek version we saw last season. I think he's better as a sub. But like I say, feels tight moaning, just looking for perfection.

He reminds me of Patrick Berger in the way he is there, doesn't really beat people, can be a bit anonymous at times but you know he has the talent and a thunderous shot. Great to have in the squad.

He was certainly the least effective of our midfield/attack.

Yeah he struggled a bit even during that first 40 mins when we looked untouchable.

10 goal contributions in his last 12 games.

Starting to see a lot more consistency from both him and Diaz. Think that front three of Salah, Diaz and Gakpo is first choice right now.

I think they are the best 3 but that enables Slot to play 2 of them and 1 other as a method of rotation

Gakpo is coming along very nicely, but I think Diaz and Jota will start tomorrow, then we'll have a week off before United, god I want to hammer them.
                  * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Done vey well this season. I do watch him sometimes and think he's a bit predictable cutting inside but he can be so explosive and has such a lovely strike of the ball that he's been very effective.

Think he is the least predictable of our options on the left when it comes to cutting in.

Jota, Diaz and Nunez when on the left will try to drive at the back line when they cut in and they do that almost every time and if they then find they have to pass they pause for a second to look for that pass.

Gakpo on the other hand cuts in and you are not sure if he already has a pass in mind or if a rocket of a shot is on his mind. The defenders then are caught between getting close enough to block a shot and keeping their line to counter a pass to a runner. He also does a thing where he draws back his right foot like he is about to shoot and then in the same swing of the foot he passes with the outside of his foot along the 18 yard line.

He also mixes it up a bit more in terms of how often he feints like he is going to cut in and instead goes wide.

Didn't really like it when he was being used as a nine or false nine in the past, but him being played on the left in a similar roles to what he does for the Dutch national team gives us an edge on that flank imo.

Think if we had a few more runners from deep we would see him picking them out a lot just as he does for the Netherlands.

Not hurting either that he is using his size more on the flank and injecting a tiny bit extra steel/needle into his game.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

You mean predictable like Arjen Robben

Disagree, imo Diaz is the most unpredictable player in our squad, Gakpo is more direct. Like both players even if they are very different.
