Trent's audition in midfield is definitely more than just a purple patch. Buck him in there permanently and sort the defence with a pacey ****er switched on to a high line.

Failing that he's going to be either knackered or a square peg in a round hole.

Thiago only has next season left on his contract anyway. Henderson has until the summer of 2025. So both are gone in the summers of '24 and '25

To be fair Thiago will offer plenty of minutes to another player. Thiago and a new guy could share the position for Thiago's last season.


Henderson I unfortunately have to agree with you on. I hope he would become a Milner type player for us (a season or so ago) but this season he play older and looks more worn out than the much older Milner.

Type it out every time. Compared to a flashy CTRL-V it's slow and laborious, but it does match the play of "Captain Fantastic".
