A bit of ‘scoreboard pressure’ on Utd and Newcastle for sureOriginally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostYessss.
Five wins in a row now. In with a chance of a CL spot if a few results go our way and we keep winning and in a very good position now to get at least a spot in the EL.
Wins are all that count as you say and that’s 5 wins in 2 weeks
5 clear of Spurs now also.Modifying post.

Newcastle onlyy need 2 wins in there last 5 games. And united have got 2 games in hand.
I think the EL will be great for us next year and its another chance for A CL spot._____________________________________

We didn’t really create very much, the whole game was a bit half hearted, but overall we were pretty good. Darwin as a starter didn’t really work, I think it would have a more comfortable game with Gakpo starting in his place. Fab and jones were good, Fulham weren’t. And Ali, kept his concentration well despite being bored for long periods and pulled off a couple of very important saves.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Yeah… (and also not wanting to trigger Harv!) again with Nunez he seems on a different wavelength. The moment when Trent played him in he went a. The wrong way and b. Too early, was miles off.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostSqueaky bum time at the end and a bit daft from Gakpo and Elliott a few times not to keep the ball. Another win, a clean sheet(thanks Ali) and Diaz looks sharper
Nunez is a real worry for me though (sorry Harv) - just seems a bit thick
Trent was raging
It could well be communication. But he is a pretty blunt tool on current form. Gakpo on the other hand looks instantly at home.Modifying post.

I can't remember their keeper having much to do but Ali did by far the more consequential work.Originally posted by Kenneth View Post

At a certain point people have to realise that he is not a good footballer by LFC standards. He is a bit of a donkey at times. Basic passing and layoffs show his touch to be too heavy. I said his technique was poor in his first couple of games, and I stand by it.Originally posted by ronanm View PostNunez was sht tbf.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Fixed it for youOriginally posted by Charly View PostDifferent player to Nunez. His running is incisive and commits defenders and he keeps looking for the ball constantly"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

Wasn't great, looks so low on confidence, yet we wouldn't have won that game without him. They don't help him with some of the aimless hoofs he's expected to chase down either though.Originally posted by ronanm View PostNunez was sht tbf.
Salah was ****ing ****e again too. Found it incredibly hard to pass the ball to one of our players for some reason."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

For one, Trent took way too long too pass that ball, then when he did it was to the completely wrong side of Darwin, who as you say was already offside. What is he honestly expected to do there? Trent is the one looking at the play, he should be seeing where Darwin's body is shaped to go and be able to play him into that channel - not play the ball the other way when the play is already dead. Then raging at him because you were too slow to play the ball?? Looks like he's learnt from the best in Hendo.
Also Gakpo looks instantly at home?
Go read the Gakpo thread back
You lot were all writing him off after 5-6 games "so slow" "cant see where he fits in..... bla bla bla" the usual muck

I agree Gakpo took a few games to settle. I meant that Gakpo looks instantly at home when he is on the pitch now. Nunez doesn’t.Originally posted by Harv View PostI knew this moment would get brought up.

His not being able to communicate just cannot be helping him right now.Modifying post.
