Would he pass the no knobheads test? He has baggage for sure, but is clearly a talent. Is he one of those players that comes with an entourage of hangers on? Genuinely don’t know.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

I think we need another CB. Quansah has come though at exactly the right time to replace Matip. But this is how I see it:

Konate is a great player but I feel with the little injuries he seems to constantly pick up the way to manage his is only have him playing 1 game a week and ensure that he is fit and fresh for that game, it essentially means in that scenario we need 3 first choice CBs VVD + Konate/Quansah (for arguements sake). VVD is 33 in the summer, so you probably also have to ask the question how much longer can he play 2 games a week maybe a full season next year but beyond that is certainly pushing it IMO. If we get to the stage that VVD can't play 2 games a week we are using all 4 CBs on an almost constant rotation, it doesn't give us any real fall back options (other than to rotate we 3 instead of 4) if someone gets injured and is out for a while.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

They definitely targeted that right side with Bradley and Quansah but they carried on doing what they’ve done all year. So much composure for a young inexperienced player. Let all the media gush over Mainoo at the scum and let our youngsters carry on under the radar.

Insane how no one had any clue about what this guy was like and we all thought we needed another CB. Hopefully players like Sepp Van den Berg, Owen Beck, Tyler Morton and Luke Chambers can follow in both of their paths.

Anyone got the vid of his pace against Adringa towards the corner flag? He's a locomotive. Gets faster with more distance.

Thanks. That was as fast as peak VvD or Konate. Quansah was second favourite and still had time to spare.

And what better way to top off a break out season than for him to collect a PL winners medal ( and having contributed to it greatly ) Here’s hoping for the fairy tail season ending that we all crave.

No idea why I thought it was so cool, maybe because it was not one of the obvious names, but saw a kid in Cork city centre wearing a LFC top with Quansah's name on the back of it over the weekend.

First time I have seen one of the likes of Elliot, Quansah, Bradley have their name on the back of someone's top over here.

Usually it is Salah or VVD whose name is on the back.

Looks like he will make the initial squad for the Euros. Doubt he will make the plane, but everything we have seen this season suggests he is destined for greatness.

i would have said he is better than the everton young fella to be honest.

The thing i would worry about Quansah for England would be who his partner would be. If it was stones, i am not sure that he would be vocal enough, if it was Maguire, then he'll probably **** it up.

Quansah was great because he had Virgil alongside him most of the time.

I think he might make the plane you know.

Looking how both play I reckon that they would be a very good RCB/LCB pairing.

Quansah being the one that carries the ball more and that is the pass picker and Branthwaite being the one that acts more as the mainstay or rock in the back line.

Do hope that we give van den Berg a crack at the first team next season as he has been very solid in the Bundesliga and was a starter for pretty much the entire season. Was one of the stand out players for Mainz.

                              Only 21 as well.

Good shout actually Jaco Doc man..... Wouldnt be the worst signing in the world for us this summer although i suspect lfc will under Edwards wouldn't pay the English player tax. Also, from Branthwaites point of view, he might not play that often until virgil ****s off. Could probably only see it if we sold konate to be honest

Van Den Berg is a good shout as well. I suppose with the new manager in place then everyone gets a fresh chance. I'd like to see Morton get a similar opportunity too.... I think had he stayed this season then he might have made the breakthrough to be honest. Last year as well when Bajcetic got his chance (and wasn't available this season)

Also, Carvalho must be relishing the new opportunity if he has anything about him
