But I’m angling more towards Buzzo at the moment. I think CB in modern football is the hardest position to play and for us even harder. You need to play such a high line and not be exposed , pass and carry the ball, be aerially dominant and great in 1v1 duels. He hasn’t looked out of place and also has the physicality plus temperament based on what is a small sample size.

I don’t know when we’ve had such a talented young CB come through our own ranks tbh. I’m really excited by him but we still need another CB added to the pool

I do wonder how much damage a normal bloke would do making a 15 minute sub appearance in a Premier League game. Would be some spectacle to see it happen

Edited: He is talented and I have had nothing but praise for him. I've already said that several times but it's a tiny sample size and he is a kid. We have fragile defence at the moment with several injuries (Trent added to that) and we have injury prone defenders that are current fit. I don't like the idea of "Right we have Quansah we're grand". It's very early days for him, I like him but I'll hang back from saying he's class, worth 50m and what a break through season when he has only played a few games. I thought my comments were reasonable and logical as we have been here before. I think it's crucial to add to the defence in this window, just as it was crucial when we didn't get a CB when Lovren went & DM last season. Many posters said back then "Ah we're fine we don't need a CB when Lovren left & ah we don't need another midfielder last season and it royally ****ed us. The league is there for us, we have a massive opportunity here & I would hate for us to fall short because we rested on our laurels "once again" and didn't add to the squad. We don't have to sign Maldini, just solid cover as a just incase.
