He could play one half, his experience could guide the younger players until they settle then they can get stuck in for the second half.Originally posted by BigChief View PostElliot needs a rest. Did i see somewhere that if we were to beat Southampton then the Everton game gets postponed until after the inty break for an fa cup fixture...... To be honest that is a good carrot to win the game v Southampton.
This stage of the season is where arsenal wil have a big advantage having gone out of the cups early. Would be nice to see them beat porto in a bruising second leg and get man city in the next round of the CL. Hopefully they kick **** out of early other.
If arsenal lose v porto, then they will be in pole position to go and win the league imo. They still need to go to man city, spurs and united all away but the one game a week scenario at this stage of the season would be huge

If you are not fit to play for your club before an international break, you shouldn't be allowed to play international football until you are fully fit again.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

United is the second last game of the season- can see them rolling over if Arsenal are in a title race, either with us or city…Originally posted by frank the tank View PostIf arsenal lose v porto, then they will be in pole position to go and win the league imo. Surely it depends what their situation in the table is too, at the moment they are 8 points off 4th and 3 off 5th. We don't know what the deal with the CL spots is, there will be 4, but there could be a 5th, my understanding is the PL is currently in 3rd place with the rankings for this (need to be in top 2 to get a 5thOriginally posted by Mr Pink View PostUnited is the second last game of the season- can see them rolling over if Arsenal are in a title race, either with us or city…
place), but it could change depending how the teams from the respective leagues do in the knockout stage. So there is a chance they could be in a battle for a CL spot. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Nothing to see here............... are there only 4 ref's available for Liverpool games (all from the Manchester area?)
Paul Tierney has been appointed as the referee for Liverpool’s trip to Nottingham in the Premier League on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the lead VAR will be Stuart Attwell, who will be accompanied by the linesman who elbowed Andy Robertson in the face last season, Constantine Hatzidakis.
