That second goal was all class. Szoboszlai with a great ball to start it off. Mac Alister is in top form to finish the season and thought Szoboszlai looked like he’s getting back to that early season form again. And Diaz looks to have found his top form too. Some players look to be hitting their straps which bodes well for the run in.

A little more composure to see off games would be good. Might be more about wanting more goals for the goal difference today though. There was the opportunity to add more on the counter but we got sloppy when we’d usually have had at least one more on the counter at the end.

Lots of positives and negatives, but THIS, did he think we were losing at the end? Just play it safe in stoppage time being one goal up!

I’d be more worried if Salah wasn’t getting chances. Off course it would be better if he’d scored 4 and we won 5-1. But it’s not as easy as that. He’s top scorer for us and up there in the League despite hardly playing since the start of the year.

It was a great goal today, that was the moment that mattered.

Secure the win before we worry about goal difference. Some of those crosses into the box at the end were a bit brainless, as was trying to turn past multiple players in our own half with passing options on both sides

Glad we didn’t pay for it today, and now we can see what’s what with the other game

Not good for my blood pressure. Or Endo and VvD's hamstrings having to put in unnecessary sprints and lunges.
I was remembering can't remember who, who always had us trying to play out a game when we'd got our noses in front. We'd lose and draw a few. It's a fine line between trying to kill a game with another goal or some side-ways passing. We've probably gone a little too far the former, but it is exciting. Where is Hendo when you need him?
            Really?

Yeah well ****, we should definitely get rid.
I don't see why anyone wouldn't want to cash in come the summer. Is he getting any better or is his overall game on the downward spiral? He needs loads more efforts just to score these days and is really wasteful. If nunez had 12 shots, he'd be getting loafs thrown at him. Take the money, free up wages, invest again with a new manager. No ****ing brainer. Love a title before he bows out.

If we had Jones on the pitch we would have run down the clock without the heartburn.

If he has 12 shots and zero contribution then yeah, but he did score the winner, he did almost assist a goal, and he is vital to our league title pursuit (and likely next season's).

16 goals and 9 assists in 23 League games mate. Hardly on the decline. Only Halland has more and Watkins the same with 7 more games. Statistically Mo is one of the most productive forwards in Europe.

You don’t like him. But you also try and crowbar in some form related reason when there is zero evidence to back it up.

He scored the winner today, and he should have scored more.

Of he was out there doing **** all and not getting involved, I’d agree but he is always making runs getting chances. Scoring goals and creating.

That’s now 26 points from losing positions in the league this season.

As it happens, I agree we should cash in, the value to age ratio does make it a no brainier. “But he’s scored…” is fine, and it’s the clubs job to use the money to find a younger replacement for them.

Yes, he's over 30 years old and we are hearing reumuurs of over £100 m. Many teams in the past have done this reinvestment successfully, why not us?

I highly doubt anyone on here dislikes Salah. This is about his age, tenafer funds, how he's playing now, the future of the club etc.
