I thought he had a good 5 mins when he came energy wise… but then he was all over the place and we need the midfield to be doing there jobs. Sort of like those bad Gerrard games where he tried to do everything.
Robbo was decent, and Jota got chances. Gakpo better than usual. Thats it really.Modifying post.

Move up at the wrong time en masse and Atalanta turned us over in midfield. Their forwards stayed up instead of running back which is not what we're used to. Poor concentration but the whole lot didn't look like they moved as a team tonight. Maybe they fooled themselves as so many teams sit right back at Anfield knowing we struggle against that, so fair play to Atalanta for putting the sword right up us.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI need to watch this back to work out what was going on at the back. Kostas went awol for the first, but how did the CBs just vanish for a couple of goals, like, they were nowhere near? It looked like Virgil and Konate did a lot of Jogging tonight.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

No idea who we rest / rotate & how strong we go. I saw they lost 2-1 on the weekend but not sure if they rested players for this or not.
You got cocky SB. Cocky never wins.Modifying post.

Let's know won't you? I'm definitely not watching it back.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI need to watch this back to work out what was going on at the back. After the first half a dozen games he was being heralded by everyone, potential signing of the season etc, but he’s got progressively worse with every game. He talked about feeling lonely, maybe he’s not settled.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostSzoboslai gives up on the chance after his mistake. I'm in my cups listening to an acoustic Geomungo album to cleanse my mind.

Yeah the last few results/performances have largely been poor, and has effectively ended our FA Cup and Europa League chances. The Man Utd result last week on it's own wasn't terrible but the position it put us in and the context of the FA Cup tie and imminent exit from Europe it does make you worry that way.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI have a horrible feeling the season is going to implode now and we'll be a laughing stock. Need to absolutely smash Palace and regain focus.
Do we think the enormity of it has caught up with them, the pressure has got to us or we have just run out of legs or what?

Got to go strongest team possible in every league game now.
Crowd need to show up also.
Need a massive result, we essentially need the Liverpool side that start games quickly get a 2 or 3 goals ahead then cruise through the 2nd half comfortably and win tye game 4 or 5 nil. Unfortunately we haven't seen that side all season. We have found ourselves going behind in so many games but having to play right up to the end every game is exhausting
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Can't be legs, surely. Weird thing is we're actually worse the more regular starters we get back. Maybe they're not really ready, or maybe the kids just care a bit more.Really?

Not one player gets any credit tonight.
Atalanta made it difficult all over the pitch. Deserved the win.
If Nunez takes his chance at 0-0 it can be all different. That was a ****ing terrible miss, very angry about that one not even hitting the ****ing target.
Defence was a total shambles all through the match.
Don't get your hopes up on the title, that will be done based on this showing.
