Dont really need a new manager then if we have it all worked out.

    i thought we wanted continuity?

What about Klopp's style didnt work?

It fell apart a bit after Firmino left as we lost the bridge between the midfield and attack, and Nunez just didnt fit

I don't see Isak and Ekitike playing huge amounts of games together Isak has obviously been injured or unfit more or less all season. Ekitike looks knackered. We are probably hoping dor them to play between 50 and 60 games a season in a typical season, given added time, that's probably 5000-6000 mins, I would imagine something around 3500 each spread evenly over the season is a more realistic aim, availability, form and match situation influence yhat but I would expect that as a ballpark work load. If we want 2 strikers to play together we need more strikers, I think we bring in wide players and play one striker
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

What i am struggling to understand is how we played against Gala 2nd leg to then how we played against Brighton. Why a drastic change? It’s not the first time either.

What will Slot do next season if he stays? Are we hoping injuries don’t hamper our style like this season? Im pretty stuck what to think right now…

After the spurs result that was 1st time i wanted Slot gone. I just don’t see how we improve with him going forwards. Seen all the stats how we’ve become soft, weak, out played and out run. Just cannot see him undoing any of that any time soon.

New manager in, sort our **** out and build from there. I dont want to see us bullied game after game again.

Which injuries have really hampered our playing style specifically though?

I want him gone too. But our RB situation has caused us problems most of the season. Having an unfit Isak for all of the season has hampered us.

Problems that compound on a manager, unable or unwilling to mix up his squad with younger players. A manager that sees Dom as a player he can move around to fill holes rather than seeing his energy and play in midfield is utterly vital in getting this team playing. A manager that says we press and run hard, when the stats show him to be a liar. A manager that ****s off home for stretches at a time and lets the players have an easy life.

(Absolutely nothing against him seeing his family obviously but surely during the recruitment process his family remaining in Holland came up?!)

We are almost turning a corner, he'll turn it around soon. We're about to thump PSG.

My gut feel is that he is gone and that the new manager is in place to begin in the summer. No new manager would want to step into this season as it would involve starting from such a negative position.

Do the players know? My guess is officially - no, unofficially - yes. It would explain the fragility. I think that out of respect for what he achieved last season Slot gets the entirety of this no matter what.

No insider info - just gut feel.

The substitutions said it all…keep Salah and jones on… bring on Gakpo and mcallister when we are 4 nil down. Bring on the kids…
We concede one and the wheels fall off…
No strategy from the team no coaching…
                    He should be fired now
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

He's definitely not leaving before the end of the season, but I'm not so sure he won't be here next as well. I'm also not so sure that Xabi would suit the PL very well - and I can see him going to Man City - so if not Slot nor Xabi, then who?
                      Really?

Yes, the players 'knowing' the manager is leaving definitely 'explains the fragility'. WTF.

If I had to bet, I'd put my money on Slot being here at the start of next season. If he does go, he shouldn't be alone, either.

A least the third goal made him stop hopping around like a crazy person which hes been doing the past few games. Probably thought thats how you win fans over.
