Back to Arne, came across as very nervous - I get Klopp is a hard act to follow, but I'm not that convinced, my opinion, hopefully I'm proved wrong

Tbh could not give a toss about his early interviews and any of the clips the club does with him meeting staff etc.


First interviews and the media clips usually tend to be cringey and/or full the same questions and replies that get used every time we have a new manager.


Short of a useless ****er Hodgson type of start, I reckon it will be 12 to 18 months before we know if he is good enough or not.


This coming season is/should be one of consolidation and transistion imo.

Maybe there will be a bit of a shock and we do better than expected, but realistically I think the bar will be set at getting a CL spot and maybe a good cup run.


Think if we finish next season in a similar league position to the season just gone and get a trophy, it will be seen as a very good first season by a new manager. Especially if we can see the signs of a style of play etc emerging.
