You can't talk about how there isn't much joy in watching PL games and then turn out a team playing the most boring, slow, ****e football the club has seen in many many years. What a plonker.

Sad to think how quickly we have gone from Klopp's entertaining brand of football to this.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostYou can't talk about how there isn't much joy in watching PL games and then turn out a team playing the most boring, slow, ****e football the club has seen in many many years. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It was a bold thing to say, especially when we are playing some pretty turgid stuff and have started doing corners and long throws also.Modifying post.

He's become a masterful excuse-maker, and never looks inward.
It's always everyone else's fault that we don't play attractive football apparently."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

He's Hughes' man.Originally posted by Lee View Post****e since September. Well, since February ‘25 really.
How the **** is the club just letting this happen without making a change. **** results, **** style of football, **** decisions, **** man management.
****ing baffling.
Need Hughes to **** off to Saudi with Mo in his luggage and I bet you Edwards sacks Slot that afternoon"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

They've been doing that for years though, to no effect and they've lucked out with Carrick. Remember he was only one of three potential interim managers they looked at before they even think about their next permanent manager. Who are we going to try? Gerrard? No thanks.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostLook at Utd, a new manager comes in. Someone who gets the culture and changes the messaging and their entire season begins to turn around. We need the same.Really?

I’m saying new manager, not interim.Modifying post.

Same tactics from the opposition again.
Sit deep and defend knowing we’ve got knowing out wide and move the ball slow so it’s easy to defend. Last 20 come at us.
And when you complain about low blocks maybe don’t play a style of football that suits them. It’s so easy for the defence to reset and stay organised when you move the ball slow and every player needs to touch the ball 3-4 times before making a pass.

Why wouldn't he be? He gets the club as well as anyone could + he's an excellent tactical brain as both a player and manager (from his brief foray into management). People will point to him getting the boot at Madrid as failing....he had them top of the table until a few players got the hump with him because he wanted them to work harder and downed tools and even then they were still getting results. Its not gone so well for Arbeloa since though...Originally posted by Tatterdemalion View PostWell, not sure Alonso is the answer, but I'd take him.
Xabi in for me. He's the one I wanted when Klopp left and nothings changed in my mind.
I absolutely hate Slot. I cannot stand the guy and his **** excuses and cannot wait to see the back of his **** football."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
