It was a dig at fake tan man Ben White who had given Carvalho a late kick just as the ball was going out. Carvalho gave it back to him not long after.

I thought the 2nd half was quite enjoyable, watching the youngsters pressing Arsenal, which given Arsenal's possession dominence we got to see a fair bit. But the constant press kept Arsenal penned back and they never really troubled Kelleher in the second half, bar one shot from an angle which was straight at him.

Even after just a couple of games it is easy to see what Slot wants his team to do out of possession. I'm still working out the in possession playing style mind, but maybe with everyone back it will become clearer. In my head I see 4-2-4 but I'm not sure that's quite right.

Love Quansah, lad really does have all the right ingredients for someone so young. Played last season in a game instead of Van Dijk and I didn’t notice. That’s a massive compliment. He’s learning from a master.
