It's a behind closed doors friendly there's not much to say about it other than you would be disappointed with the result (if results mattered). It was all about fitness and getting people minutes. We know who played and when but we don't really know formation or tactics or how players linked up, who looked sharp and who didn't etc. First friendly we can see will be interesting, but will still likely have a number of first team players missing.

Interesting to see Kelleher has traveled so hopefully there’s no transfer plans at this stage. He hasn’t been seen training as yet & id read it’s possibly because of being on the market.

Interesting listening to Curtis Jones’s press conferences. Possibly giving more info away than he’d been briefed to. Suggesting that slot wants us to be more patient and keep possession more than Klopp, break teams down and starve them of the ball, hinting that he thought we were too impatient under Jurgen. Saying the new style fits him perfectly and he’s the happiest he’s been.
