2024/25 Season

Just checked our updated fixtures. We will have played eight games by the end of a short February. Of which 6 are PL. As mentioned above the Villa game has been rammed in. Conversely, I only see one PL game in March!!

March is effectively half a month because of the international break. Would have been 2 PL games, but now we have the Carabao final instead of Villa away.

February is crammed because we have 2 rearranged PL games moved to this month. Everton and Villa.

It’s comical when you look through the fixtures for the lower divisions when the international break is on & see “ Postponed due to international call ups “, it’s like wtf for who?

What's happened to the winter breaks? Have they been done away with?

No winter break this season. The season started later to accommodate Euro 2024 and Copa America. That and the expanded CL format left no room for it. I'll be surprised if it comes back, not that it was ever a true winter break anyway.
