To be fair 2 of those this month are rescheduled fixtures because of the Everton postponement in December and the Villa game being brought forward because of the Carabao cup final. Otherwise we would have had 4 PL games in Feb and 2 in March because of the international break, as it is it's 6 and 1.

I do agree that there is too much football and the schedule doesn't give too many opportunities to reschedule fixtures if you are in Europe, but being out of the FA Cup gets us a couple of weekends off in March.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I know, but it still points to the issues with the schedule. It's unwieldy. 2 postponed games having to be rearranged to within a week of each other. It should be designed to easily manage postponements. Instead it's stick them in wherever there happens to be a gap remaining and hope that the rearrangements don't outnumber the gaps.

Which could easily have happened if in addition to our postponed games, our Utd game been postponed, and if we'd needed to play the CL knock out qualifiers, or if ourselves or Spurs had made the FA Cup semis.

But if we build a big advantage, it will be nice for us sitting clear up top while our competitors won't even have the opportunity to make up much ground. Be more frustrating for them, than us.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Pissed off at the result tonight, but still, we are 7 points ahead with 14 to play. Arsenal need to beat our form by at least half a point per game, which given we are running at around 2.4 and them at 2.05 currently, seems unlikely. And we play them at home.
            Really?

I'm still scarred by the Michael Thomas moment. I count nothing as certain until it is. We are certainly in a good position but it means nothing unless we win it.

The old cliche, but at the start of the season if you offered me 7 points clear with 14 to play, healthy in the CL and into the final of the league cup Id have snapped your arm off. It’s in our hands and then some. We’re in a fantastic position. I don’t see us dropping off now, it’s different this season. I just hope Slot only gets one game.

Don't mean to pee on your parade but we can't finish on three digits now. We can only get 99 points.

The manner of the result feels like a defeat, but with the nature of the game I would have taken a point before kick off, we have extended our lead, let's move on to the next one and get the win at the weekend

Yes, but when we led the league at that point, we'd only done so for a few games and it was really tight. It wasn't really a surprise that we got overtaken, just the way it happened.

It doesn't feel like it but that solitary point is huge in the grand scheme of things. If we're not beating wolves and one of Villa / Newcastle then we probably don't deserve the league title.

We're 7 ahead with 14 to play. Arsenal probably have more injury issues than us and their form is more questionable than ours. They have to beat our form by 0.5 points per game to be in with a shout, which given our current is 2.4 a game means either we drop off A LOT, or their form improves A LOT, possible meaning winning all of their remaining games. Assuming they don't beat us at our place, it's a huge ask. Even if they do, it's still a big take. We just have to look after ourselves and good things will happen.
