I just found a dead nope rope in the garden, it took a lot of very distant cajoling to prove it.

Coastal Taipan - The third most deadly snake in the world right there!

Cool to hear that. Been in Oz before (mostly Melbourne, Port Fairy and in parts of the NT ( Alice Springs, Darwin and along the Adelaide river) ) but will be my first time doing an extended touristy thing.

Lol **** that for a game of soldiers. I'd only move it after it'd started to decomposition process as part of me would think it's an elaborate trap to get me into range so it could bite me.

I've got magpies and squirrels dotting about my back garden.

Hah let me put her mind back in unease. Crocs arent even the worst thing here. My dad was fishing once and he looked across the shore and saw a dog running. A few meters behind it was a crocodile chasing it. A little behind that was a guy chasing the croc with a stick. Everyone was laughing and cheering him on.

Yeah mentioned it in another thread, but spent time in a smallish boat (me plus one other person) fishing on the Adeladie river and we had to move every now and then that week whenever a big saltie looked like he might get a bit territorial or at times just to move on afrter we had caused a bit toomuch splashing after catching fish.

As the guy whose boat it was would say "it is not the croc that looks ornery you need to be worried about, it is the big guy you cannot see submerged six feet away that's going to be the problem"

TBH I loved it up there but most of my time there this trip will be confined to Darwin's shops and maybe a beach trip before hitting the train. Croc Cove is the closest I am going to get her to going off the reservation.

As for her mindset, I'm sure google has already told her everything she needs to know about Australia and if all else fails I will sit her down to watch a triple header of Rogue, Razorback and Wolf Creek to show her the gentler side of day to day Aussie living

Liverpool boss Arne Slot will continue to be on the touchline until the outcome of his Football Association charge - meaning he could still be in the dugout to face Aston Villa and Manchester City this week.
The Dutchman has until Wednesday to respond after being charged with having "acted in an improper manner and/or used insulting and/or abusive words and/or behaviour" towards referee Michael Oliver.

It came after James Tarkowski's stoppage-time leveller in the 2-2 draw at Everton on Wednesday last week, with assistant Sipke Hulshoff also facing a similar charge.
Liverpool go to Villa on Wednesday, meaning Slot is due to be in the dugout at Villa Park.
It is also likely he will be on the touchline for the Premier League leaders' trip to the Etihad on Sunday - unless the process is fast-tracked.
                Modifying post.

Crocs can't run that far, they'd have a heart attack within a few minutes.

The worst thing you can do is climb a tree as they'll wait months for you to fall down dead!

Magpies can figure out light switches so they can negate the whole nocturnal thing and bring their squirrel henchmen into play at night.

So I'm getting more nervous this week than I should be. As a result went over to Arsenal Mania to get some calming insight. Saw a thread on Arsenal's form against teams this season compared to last.

In summary, the first thing of note is West Ham beat them in this fixture! Despite an injury free run by the Arse. To compound their worries, they have almost matched all dropped points last season with this season. Except for two which they overturned successfully (Villa & Spurs).

                                Hope that helps a little.
