Well I'm more than happy for you to be completely correct!Originally posted by RedReet View PostWhy? They couldn't beat a much worse Everton side at home and United also put them out of cup with 10 men at Emirates. Arsenal are also much worse now, but you're 100% sure they'll reverse the results?

These two matches against City this season illustrated perfectly the difference between Klopp and Slot.
At 2-0, the Klopp team would be putting everything into getting goals 3 and 4, and maybe conceding 1 or 2 in the process.
For Slot, go 2-0 up then completely suffocate the game and see it out. Such discipline.Oh I don't know.

Today feels massive, especially given the other results this weekend. Arsenal must’ve been thinking to reduce the lead and it’s grown by 3 more points, totally demoralizing for them.
Ars away to Forest midweek and we play the Geordies, that could be another pivotal set of games and then we get a week off…..thanks Plymouth
I’m bringing my son to tge Southampton game then, brother coming as well….. looking forward to it

I really enjoyed watching the team play like that today. The versatility in Slots approach is paying off. The second half only really needed someone better to hold it up at times if I’m being super critical but we cut through them when we attacked and could have scored more.
That call for patience from Slot earlier in the season is coming through. They are getting more accustomed to his tactics. With some player movement in the off season and more of what he might want coming in it could get even better.
City look like we did the year after the tittle win. You can walk straight through them and create chances.

Yep absolute confidence booster for the fans as much as anything else. Quite a few fans worried after the 2 draws but this win & Arsenal’s loss should settle a few nerves.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostToday feels massive, especially given the other results this weekend.
