I posted earlier about going through Arsenal mania and their like for like thread on results from last season. They have almost exactly matched last season's results. They lost against West Ham then as well.

I took the plunge yesterday and made Potter my Fantasy PL manager. He just earned me 19 points!!

This isn't a title race it's a title choke-a-thon

Dropping 2 points after an extremely dodgy 100th minute goal and drawing away to a decent Villa team with more than 3x their XG is hardly choking.

Withtout City's blatant cheating, we're back to normal title standards.

Since the turn of the year we have played 8 games, 7 regular games and our game in hand of those we have W4 and D4 which isn't great form, but we have extended our lead from 6 to 8 points

Big result today. If they'd won and we lose to city, it would have been in arsenal's hands, with a win against us putting them ahead.

We've also got a few difficult games out of the way and maintained our unbeaten record.

There was a decent article in Echo earlier, putting a slightly different perspective on our current form.

Either way, after yesterday's draw and the draw on Wed, today's result is a nice little boost ahead of the City game.

Two points per game of course equates 50% wins and 50% draws.

So six wins and six draws from the final 12 should it, and it's definitely doable.

Taking into account a likely superior goal difference that means Arsenal can only afford to mess up in one more game and that's it.
