I did notice that Nat scored the winner for Derby in a 1-0 win that lifted them out of the bottom 3 in the championship.

I had talksport on at the time and I think they referred to it as a colossal performance from Nat

I wonder if many loan signings fail because of the mental side of things.
These young lads have to find inner strength and determination to go elsewhere and succeed and prove their worth to their parent club. They must feel like they have been cast adrift and can be easily disheartened.
How often does someone from LFC check on their progress and give them the hug they might need.

The fact we have a full time loan officer leads me to believe he can’t just be sitting at his desk day after day plotting the route out for the next batch of kids coming through. He’d have ample time to communicate with & visit the dozen or so kids we’ve jettisoned out on loan.

If he's improved enough then maybe he'll either be loaned out again, or we'll use him as backup. He has pace which is something we sorely lack when Salah goes off.

Talk of Owen Beck going on loan to the Championship but he’s into the last year of his contract. I’d re sign him & send him on loan as he may be the replacement for Timmy in 12 months time.
